SOME FOLKS MAY BE INTERESTED
IN ORIGINAL MATERIAL; SOME PREFER A MIX OF COVERS.
In order to better identify the type of gig I'll be playing and/or
hosting, I'll use the following simple identifying letter after
the date of each gig listing:
"O"-ORIGINAL- all songs being played were written
by me, or local and independent artists.
"CC"-COUNTRY COVER- most songs played will be
classic country.
"MC"-MIXED COVER- mostly songs by well-known
artists in mixed genres.
"MO"-MIXED ORIGINAL- a mix of my and independent
music with some classic covers.
"M"-MIXED- usually a new venue, or one that
I need to regularly adjust to the audience.
"OM"-OPEN MIC- many artists perform short sets
of varied material; all are welcome to participate.
"SH"-SHOWCASE"- A few artists are scheduled
to perform.
(Although I have never taken a gig that is all cover, venues
and audiences often affect my choice of material. MZ)
